The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering, Maintenance and Reliability Team based in Thompson, Manitoba. Acting as the technical authority for the electrical engineering discipline, supporting capital projects, maintenance strategy development, asset life cycle cost optimization, bad actor elimination program, while ensuring high standard of safety and integrity for our electrical assets. Additionally, in this position you will: Acting as a delegate for the Electrical Superintendent as required. Provie technical direction for complex electrical engineering designs and guide other design personnel. Conduct complex engineering studies and field inspections and prepare relevant reports. Complete, approve, and review complex engineering estimates, drawings, calculations, functional specifications, data sheets, equipment specifications, scopes of work, front end loading (FEL) studies and detailed design packages.
