As a Predictive Maintenance Technician, you will actively provide data gathering, technical analysis and generate actionable insights, as part of a world class predictive maintenance program across fixed plant equipment. Your experience and skills will assist with vibration monitoring, oil analysis, predictive analytics, thermography analysis, implementing new technologies and preventing significant unplanned failures. Additionally, in this position you will: Analyze and interpret data from vibration analysis, infrared imaging, oil analysis, ultrasound, alignment, and non-destructive testing (NDT) to determine asset health. Implement advanced predictive maintenance techniques to identify equipment deterioration and prevent unplanned failures. Support the deployment of predictive analytics, including machine learning algorithms, to enhance failure prediction and prevention. The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Mill Operator 6 to join our Concentrator Team in Voisey's Bay, Labrador, a fly-in fly-out operation. This is a permanent on-site position, working a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation. As a Mill Operator 6, you operate one of the seven areas of the milling process (i.e. crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering, reagents, paste plant, and tailings and water management). Additionally, in this position you will: Perform pre-operational checks and operate equipment according to standard operating procedures and monitor equipment and processes. Conduct troubleshooting activities when problems arise and interact with the Control Room Operator and the Supervisor as required to correct. Perform plant housekeeping activities, minor equipment repairs, and support maintenance activities as required. Complete operator reports and ensure that equipment deficiencies and operational issues are communicated to the supervisor. Use overhead cranes and lifts to move operational supplies around the plant. Participate in crew safety meetings. About You Education: Completed a minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 6 months of operating experience in a mineral processing plant. Previous experience in Voisey's Bay would be considered an asset. Skills: Basic understanding of mineral processing theory and practice. Familiar with the process flowsheet and with the equipment and its function. Familiar with the safe work practices and standard operating procedures of the concentrator. As an Industrial Mechanic Apprentice, you will be responsible for installing and dismantling of equipment to inspecting and maintaining of equipment.\u00a0Your experience and skills will contribute to interpreting instructions, sketches, drawings, templates, work orders, welding procedures and data sheets related to work assignments in either the shop or field Additionally, in this position you will: install, dismantle, assemble, construct, erect, move, replace, inspect, adjust maintain and repair mechanical and process equipment and structures throughout the mines and surface plants. Safely install, inspect, service and test hoisting ropes and shaft conveyances Align with work safety policies and safety regulations. About You  Education: Industrial Mechanic/Millwright college diploma is required Qualify or be registered as an apprentice in the province of Manitoba at  level 3 or 4. Experience: Minimum of 6 months repair experience in work and school. Skills: Thorough knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical principles is preferred. Experience installing, maintaining and repairing equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, power transmission, mechanical drives, conveyor systems, pumps, overhead cranes) are considered an asset.\u00a0 Oxy acetylene cutting and burning is considered an asset.
