As an Instrumentation & Control Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of production by installing/replacing and calibrating quality instrumentation. Your experience and skills will contribute to scheduled or emergency repairs, installation and inspection of work to be done in the shop or field. Additionally, in this position, you will: Safely install, test, debug and troubleshoot various pieces of equipment, preforming inspections as required. Safely perform Preventative Maintenance work to meet production schedules. Diagnose and repair instrumentation equipment problems and breakdowns to reduce impact on operations. This is a permanent on-site position, working a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation. As a Maintenance Technician - Heavy Duty Equipment Technician you will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, adjusting, overhauling, servicing, and maintaining mobile heavy-duty mining equipment. Additionally, in this position you will: Check Bolters, Jumbo Drills, Haul Trucks, Graders, Bulldozers, Excavators, Shovels, Loaders and other surface and underground equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment. Adjust, repair or replace defective parts and components of the equipment systems. The Opportunity We are currently seeking JRTP (Job Readiness Training Program) Trainees for our Mill, Surface Mine and Warehouse departments in Voisey's Bay, Labrador, a fly-in fly-out operation. The JRTP position is a 12-month fixed term on-site position, working a 2 week on/2 week off rotation.
