The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician - Oil Heat System Technician to join our Utilities Maintenance Team in Voisey's Bay, Labrador, a fly-in fly-out operation. The role is a permanent on-site position, working a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotational schedule. As a Maintenance Technician - Oil Heat System Technician, you will be responsible for repairing, troubleshooting, adjusting, overhauling, servicing, and maintaining equipment within powerplant, paste plant, booster station, wastewater plant, water treatment plant and other utility facilities. Additionally, in this position you will: Repair and maintain the oil-fired equipment at the mine including UG Fresh Air Raise Ventilation Fans Heaters, Incinerator Burners, and Boilers in the main powerhouse which are critical to our operation. Inspect, examine, and test parts in order to recommend the extent and nature of the work to be done. Test and adjust repaired systems for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer's specifications.
